SO BAG manufactures big bags for protection of the coastline from the risk of marine submersion

SO BAG has developed specific big bags in collaboration with WAVE BUMPER to protect a coastline from the risk of marine submersion.
Céline Poulachon has hosted Romain Chapron, CEO of WAVE BUMPER which is based in Bayonne, to discuss the development of their product.

The BIGBUMP® Classique and the BIGBUMP® Vidangeable are manufactured at our facility in Blanzy (Burgundy).

Once these big bags are ballasted with sand and placed end to end, they allow to create the resistance of the BUMPBLADE®, a removable anti-submersion seawall, designed and manufactured by WAVE BUMPER. This item made of composite material is light, removable, reusable, fast to install and respects the local environment. Its patented technology reflects the energy of the waves and generates the withdrawing wave. 

What is more, to make it easier to use this coastal airbag in the right place and at the right time, WAVE BUMPER develops an alert application for smartphones. This software integrates the weather data: all the atmospheric parameters and information about swells and tides that allow to trigger a marine submersion alert thanks to satellite data provided by the European Spatial Agency.
